Relay Technician

Responsibilities
OTP is seeking a full-time Relay Technician to be located in Jamestown, ND.
Relay Technicians鈥� days vary, some duties will include making periodic tests of differential, directional, overcurrent, underfrequency, and other types of relays in service in Otter Tail AOA体育平台 Company substations. Test and adjust new relays as they are received prior to initial installation and maintain records on all new relays. They must be able to operate all test equipment. The candidate will be required to specialize in relay testing and be very knowledgeable in system protective schemes. They will make minor print revision and prepare reports on substation protective scheme checkout. They will travel throughout the entire system and perform all duties in a manner consistent with all company safety rules and use equipment and protection as required.
Qualifications
We鈥檙e seeking candidates who have a thorough knowledge of all electrical equipment and testing instruments. The candidate must have three to five years' experience as a Journeyman Electrician or equivalent experience. Their Educational background should include electrical or electronics trade school associate degree. They must be able to work with fellow employees and be free to travel to all parts of the system.

We have an opening for an Administrative Assistant in the Customer Care Department in Fergus Falls, MN.
A two-year business or administrative assistant degree or equivalent work experience is required. Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and AOA体育平台 Point. Must have excellent writing, organization, interpersonal communications, work prioritization and data collection skills. Must be able to problem solve and understand information to facilitate compiling and tracking of action items for multiple projects; and adapt to managing multiple data computer systems. Qualifications

We have an immediate opening for a Lead Lineman in Harvey, ND.
Successful applicant will supervise, direct and work with the crew to erect and install, maintain or repair overhead and underground electrical distribution and transmission systems and substations; where necessary, frame and erect poles and attach necessary fixtures and equipment; string, sag and splice conductors (wires) and connect transformer and other equipment; trim trees, replace such equipment as broken insulators, split crossarms, cutouts, ties, faulty clamps or braces; and perform similar replacement or repair work as necessary on routine patrol or to clear up storm damage. Use electrical instruments, operate hydraulic equipment, and work out of an aerial basket.

In this role, the Outage Management System Operator will be responsible for field dispatch for Otter Tail AOA体育平台 electrical system outages, internal and external communication leveraging the Company Outage Management System (OMS).
鈥� Handle inbound and outbound calls for purposes of distribution system restoration (planned and unplanned outages).
鈥� Initial entry, update, and completion of trouble tickets for emergency outage and non-outage conditions on the distribution system.
鈥� Update outage prediction, which includes combining or splitting outages based on input from field employees or management.
鈥� Coordinate field personnel to respond to outages or other issues on the Company distribution system and when requested by AOA体育平台 System Operators.
鈥� Completing tasks related to customer requests and billing for electric services shall be fulfilled while not actively working planned or unplanned outages.
