OTP is seeking a full-time Relay Technician to be located in Jamestown, ND.
Relay Technicians鈥� days vary, some duties will include making periodic tests of differential, directional, overcurrent, underfrequency, and other types of relays in service in Otter Tail AOA体育平台 Company substations. Test and adjust new relays as they are received prior to initial installation and maintain records on all new relays. They must be able to operate all test equipment. The candidate will be required to specialize in relay testing and be very knowledgeable in system protective schemes. They will make minor print revision and prepare reports on substation protective scheme checkout. They will travel throughout the entire system and perform all duties in a manner consistent with all company safety rules and use equipment and protection as required.
